Why Clearly Nordic?

My name is Linnea, and I’m the founder of Clearly Nordic. I’ve been writing, editing and translating copy professionally for 20 years, and I’ve spent the past five years editing English content produced by Scandinavian writers. I grew up in Sweden, but I live and breathe Irish culture and spent ten years in London. I can spot an anglicised Scandinavianism a mile off.

I’ve written an international best-seller – in English, of course – and countless brand stories, web pages and opinion pieces. I don’t take my Swedish thinking and translate it into another language; I think and make sense of the world in English but understand the values that underpin Nordic cultures and mindsets.

I love Sweden, I’m proud of my Nordic heritage, and I really enjoy working with people from ‘home’, helping them to bring their designs, services and innovative ideas to a greater audience in a way that’s clear, compelling and confident.
